What We’re Building
Ceebrook is developing a community-based property finance solution specifically designed for stokvels. We enable groups of 4-12 members to collectively purchase properties that individual members cannot afford independently.
Our Product: 10-Year Community Property Finance
Loan Term: 10 years (120 months)
Property Values: R800,000 - R1,600,000
Two Models: Buy-to-Rent investment or owner-occupation
Target: Community groups and stokvels interested in co -ownership of residential properties.
Buy to Rent Model: Property purchased as investment generating rental income for debt service and member returns, providing professional management approach and measurable investment returns.
Owner-Occupation Model: Property purchased for direct occupation by community group members, requiring different governance and cost-sharing arrangements.
Our Unique Approach
Professional Formalization: We transform informal stokvels into legally protected company structures while maintaining full community control and decision-making.
Collective Assessment: We evaluate stokvels based on collective financial behaviour, social bonds, and group stability - not just individual credit scores.
Sustainable Properties: We encourage the investment in green building features such as solar panels, battery backup, water-saving systems, etc. to reduce the cost of utilities while increasing property value
